End of Life Doula Care
Services
My passion for this work is deeply rooted in personal experience. I have served as the primary caregiver for my father at the end of his life, and I understand the profound emotional, physical, and spiritual toll this journey can take. I have experienced the sleepless nights, the weight of overwhelming emotions, the challenge of managing care while trying to tend to my own family, and the deep need for comfort and connection in the midst of it all.
I also witnessed the toll terminal illness took on my grandfather when my grandmother became gravely ill. As an elderly man suddenly thrust into the role of full-time caregiver, he was overwhelmed. By stepping in to manage her care—coordinating hospice, monitoring medications, and providing steady emotional support—I allowed him the space to simply be with his wife during her final days, focusing on presence and love rather than logistics.
How I Can Help:
-
Work in collaboration with hospice to provide consistent, compassionate care and fill the gaps that medical teams cannot always cover.
-
Assist with care planning, offer respite for family caregivers, and guide loved ones through the emotional and spiritual aspects of the dying process.
-
Help families understand the changes they may see, and provide support for navigating conversations, managing daily responsibilities, and creating a peaceful environment for both patient and family.
As a doula, I work in collaboration with hospice to provide consistent, compassionate care and fill the gaps that medical teams cannot always cover. I assist with care planning, offer respite for family caregivers, and guide loved ones through the emotional and spiritual aspects of the dying process. I also help families understand the changes they may see, and provide support for navigating conversations, managing daily responsibilities, and creating a peaceful environment for both patient and family.
This work is sacred. My role is to bring comfort, structure, and support—to be a steady presence in a time of great transition. You do not have to face this journey alone. I am here to walk beside you.
